Our commitment
Casa Media is committed to making Casa welcoming and usable for people with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to explore our stories, recipes, room tours, and project guides, including readers who use assistive technology.
This statement covers the Casa website at casa.app.
Accessibility goal
Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites easier to perceive, navigate, understand, and use with assistive technology.
We have not completed a comprehensive accessibility evaluation of the site, so we cannot yet confirm that every page meets this goal.
Using Casa
You can use the “Skip to content” link at the start of each page to move past the main navigation. It becomes visible when you begin navigating with the keyboard.
Our accessibility priorities include:
- Clear headings and descriptive links that help readers find their way.
- Keyboard access and visible focus indicators for links and controls.
- Useful text descriptions for images that convey information.
- Readable text, sufficient color contrast, and layouts that work when enlarged.
- Clearly labeled forms and understandable instructions.
Ongoing improvements
Accessibility is part of how we aim to improve Casa as its content and features evolve. Some content or interactions may still present barriers. If something is difficult to read, navigate, or use, please tell us so we can understand the problem and work toward a solution.
If you need information from a page in another format, contact us with the page address and the format that would help. We will work with you to find an accessible way to share the information.
Third-party sites
Casa links to retailers, social platforms, and other websites. Those sites are managed by their own operators, and their accessibility may differ from ours. If a linked site creates a barrier, you can contact its operator directly or let us know which link caused difficulty.
Help & feedback
To report an accessibility problem or request assistance, email hello@casa.app with “Accessibility” in the subject line.
It helps to include:
- The address of the page where you encountered the problem.
- What you were trying to do and what happened.
- Your browser, device, and assistive technology, if relevant and you are comfortable sharing.
- The kind of assistance or alternative format that would help.
You do not need to share a diagnosis or medical information to ask for help.
Statement updates
We will update this statement as our accessibility work progresses and change the date at the top of this page to reflect revisions.
